Shiva Paintstiks are simple to use, but infinitely flexible.  They come with a “skin” over the top of the crayon.  This can be peeled or rubbed back with a knife, paper towel or finger nail to reveal the soft paint underneath.  The skin will form again after a day or two, and keeps the rest of the stick from drying out.  The paint dries much faster than ordinary oil paints. These paints last for a very long time without drying out.
